The three princes of La Naan may not be Lady Ramia's biological children. They're probably not even descendents of St. Phelios, and therefore, not fit to court Lady Ishtar. Darres: WHAT?! YOU MEAN THEY'RE FAKES?! ::breif pause:: Okay. Start at the beginning... Since Phelios, his bloodline has been interbreeding only within the family. Because of this it often takes a toll on the mother. Like Ishtar's mom who died after giving birth to her. It's not likely that Lady Ramia was able to produce three prefectly healthly heirs and live afterwards. There has to be some new blood. Yujinn: I've looked into it (lie!) and I'm positive that all her sons are adopted. All of them. Darres: Hold it, Yujinn! You there could be eavesdroppers... Yujinn: I'm sure there are. Darres: Then, are you nuts?! Anyone could listen in! You might as well hang a sign above the castle door saying, "Here there be bastards"! Yujinn: LookDarres. You've got two choices, or rather, two chances. Win the competition, or prove that the princes are ineligible for Ishtar's hand. But don't stir up more trouble than you have to. Be discrete. Darres: Yu...Yujinn! Yujinn: Oh, and one more thing, Darres. I love you. Both of you. Her majesty and yourself from the bottom of my heart. So don't screw up. Darres: ::blush:: Wait a minute! You love us? From the bottom of your heart?!! Yujinn: Of course I do. You're like a brother and a sister to me. You didn't think I meant romantically, did you? Ciao! Vord and a random person sit talking about the rounds and who he has to fight. First he has to fight somebody the Vord is expected to beat because the guy isn't that good, and then he gets to fight Darres.Then they start talking about Lady Ishtar and her fake name Vampire King Duzell that she's using in the tournament. Quite a little conversation about while she was male or female. Duzell, which everyone right now thinks is Ishtar, easily advances to the next round after a quick knock out with a minor charcter named Vortero. Afterwards, Duzell argues with Ishtar about how she didn't tell him that they could use magic. Then they talk about how Darres can't use magic, and you see Darres fighting people. Vord notices that Darres hasn't use any spells yet. Then a real shocker! Announcer: Fifth-round fighters, enter the arena! His royal highness, Prince Laphiji! And facing him for the first time, Prince Seiliez! Random people gossip about what happened to the last guy Laphiji fought. Shows an image of Lady Ramia's face, expressionless. Then a shadowy pciture of Sharlen. Ishtar and Duzell cheer for Seiliez and talk about why she prefers 'the cream puff' over Laphiji when Darres stops them. Ishtar, who is covered in a cloak gets up and leaves, while Duzell and Darres talk. Seiliez casts Silead, a holy spell that prevents an opponent from casting spells. Darres is in awe that Ishtar knows this spell. Duzell continues on to say that 'she' wishes that they would fight man-to-man like they are now over 'her.' Mystrious lady that you can only see from her nose down to her collar bone: So you've shown them your cards. Yujinn: It was an emergency. Besides, it may force their hand. If they don't act, Darres might not be able to discover the truth. Mystrious lady: You've lost it, Yujinn. Hmm. You must be very taken with this Lady Ishtar to put yourself on the line like this for her. Mother will be happy to hear that. Yujinn: Mother needs to mind her own business. Besides, it's not what you think. Maybe if she was a bit older. Mystrious lady: Hmm...Where have Iheard that before? Yujinn: Lucy... Lucy: It's been awhile, Yujinn. Enough time has passed for old wounds to heal. Why don't you come for a visit? Mother and Ashley would love to see you. Yujinn: I'll think about it. Back to Seiliez and Laphiji's fight. Lady Ramia sees it old that Seiliez isn't begging for mercy from Laphiji yet. She contemplates the fight by going to on to say that Laphiji is taking it easy on Seiliez and asks herself why Laphiji hasn't used any magic yet, when Sharlen comes up. Sharlen: Forgive me, Lady Ramia. But I fear you are mistaken. Lady Ramia: ::Turns around in shcok:: ...?! And just who exactly are you?
